We have received a large number of inquiries regarding eligibility for the BC Workplace Training program. This exceptional program allows eligible businesses the opportunity to receive specialized training at no cost.
What is the BC Workplace Training for Innovation Program?
The British Columbia Regional Economic and Skills Development has established a program initiative, Workplace Training for Innovation Program, through the Strategic Training and Transition Fund. The program is designed to provide eligible employers with funding for employee training in order to:
- Improve productivity
- Support the introduction of new technology, machinery/equipment or work processes
- Enhance international competitiveness
- Introduce innovative training and workplace strategies to increase the long term competitiveness of the organization and its workforce.
What is the “deal”?
Eligible BC companies may receive up to $5,000 for qualified training. The maximum funding available per employee is $1,500.
Who is eligible to benefit from the program?
Both businesses and not-for-profit employers may be eligible to receive funding. Eligible employers must be:
- Small organizations (less than 50 employees)
- In good standing with the BC Corporate Registry
- In existence for one year or more
Which training programs are qualified for the program?
All Analytics Marketing training courses are eligible for the program.
When do I have to apply by?
Unfortunately, the workplace training funds have been totally allocated.
